The Character of Natural Hogla

Hogla is a resilient freshwater marsh weed native to riverbanks and wetlands in southern Bangladesh. Once harvested, the thick reeds are sun-dried into golden-toned strands before being plaited, twisted, and handwoven into durable home accessories.

Because every item is constructed entirely by hand using raw plant material, individual pieces naturally exhibit slight, authentic variations in fibre hue, weave tension, and finished measurements. These organic nuances reflect genuine traditional craftsmanship.

Tailored Commercial Collaboration

Artisanal Sourcing from Dhaka

We welcome commercial importers, catalog buyers, and retail category managers to outline their specific product briefs. Dimension sets, structural weaves, rim finishes, protective inner liners, carton packaging specifications, batch quantities, and pre-production sampling schedules are treated as detailed requirements to discuss directly with our team, rather than standardized guarantees.

AKS Crafted is the dedicated natural-fibre home decor and handicrafts brand of AKS Global Sourcing. Headquartered in Dhaka, we apply our established export management practices to bridge regional Bangladeshi artisan weaving traditions with international retail distribution channels, coordinating development, packing, and container dispatch.
